We’re a business that cares deeply about equality – and we are very proud that this week Interserve announced the appointment of our first female Chief Executive. This follows Interserve’s success in achieving the National Equality Standard (NES) for equality, diversity and inclusion in the UK, becoming the first company operating in the support services and construction sectors to have been accredited, as well as being the largest employer to achieve the standard to date.
The target of achieving a diversity and equality standard across the group was a key aim within our SustainAbilities plan. Now, the next challenge for us is to ensure our diversity and inclusion agenda continues to thrive in the future both in the UK and across our international businesses.
