National Apprenticeship Week 2017: kickstart your career

“Being in a work environment means I can make decisions, I can take choices which help me progress as an individual in my career.”

Nathan Neale is an apprentice engineer at Interserve’s equipment services business, RMD Kwikform (RMDK).

Nathan, who works on RMDK’s design team in the Midlands, did not want to take a solely academic route to get a job, preferring instead to pursue a ‘hands-on’ apprenticeship where he combines working with studying.

Nathan enjoys the variety of his role and has benefitted from being mentored throughout his time at RMDK.
